#Broad Selection

By the broader selection of goods it's cost is low and offer low price to customer. 

Not only by this but the company also suggests the suppliers to minimize the rate of the product as per example: DO we use are in tin packed but and more packed but Walmart wants reducing the extra expenses. 
And pricing policy of this company is nice and said EDLP:-Everyday Low Price 

Keeping less margin isn't good for business but I think this is wrong because by selling product by margin ₹50 per piece and sells 10 pieces daily but  now if margin is ₹10 and sold 100 pieces daily. Think which one is profitable. This is their strategy.

Walmart found that no one is connecting market with rural area, and they did it and found profitable.

By the profitable opening, started tie up with big companies and they worked for local or private brands in place of national and international brands due to price difference.

Walmart is best in giving options but sometimes options make customers confused and delay in decision and even refuse to buy the product same day. Optimum range increases the demand of the products.

Making strong and hard relation with the suppliers results in the success of the company.

Retailer should directly meet with the producer and purchase it leads to reduce in the cost price and them selling price is minimised.

And now expanded the relations with the suppliers, product development, test marketing, package design, data sharing that leads to increase efficiency and low prices policy.
State Of An Art Technology made Walmart capable for the management of this logistic empire.

Problem 

The stores are mainly located in rural areas and due to distance from market the distribution is tough then 
Solving this problem 
Walmart setup his own distribution center, now there are more than 40 regional distribution centers. 
There are about 85thousand employees working for this and mainly technology manages the work
Real time. Data mining helps to detect the stock and even future demands. . 


Walmart has two separate distribution network. 
#DRY GROCERY 
#HOUSE HOLD ITEAMS

Walmart can't use data for his personal use only but share with his suppliers the stock of each store and the sell of the goods from store and which store which iteam is selling fast.

Walmart Express is started where the store has small space but there is wide range of collection as respect to other store.

Not a single store of Walmart is there in New York. And Walmart haven't given 100% of his own but now Walmart International is started in 26 markets.

Walmart tried for e-commerce /Internet but failed because the stores are in rural areas and they don't afford Internet connection. But Amazon is overtaking as the yearly turnover of Walmart is 6 Arab dollop but Amazon 34 billion dollar which is quite big.
